The Best Miler In The Land

Myrtlewood 4bf (Multidimensional ex Adamile by Razeen) conquered the Major P.K.Mehra Memorial Super Mile Cup (Gr.1), without raising a sweat, at Guindy on 6/3/16..

The Indian 1000 Guineas Gr.1 and Indian Oaks Gr.1 heroine was drawn nine of eleven runners and broke well from the gates. Her regular partner P S Chouhan restrained her well and tucked her on to the rail, in a fairly prominent position. He moved her one wide, well before the final bend and patiently waited for a gap to open once they entered the home straight.

Once expoesed to daylight, PS only had to ride her out hand and heels to effortlessly cruise past their opponents and win by a margin of three and a quarter lenghts, completely un - uxtended and easing up. There was not even the faintest trace of excitement in the commentator`s voice, as none of the other contenders could pose any form of challenge.ushapic

This champion filly took her stakes earned to a shade under two crores.

Winning this race is a family tradition, as Myrtlewood`s dam Adamile and her sister Amelia both did so. Thos that claim that lightning doesn`t strike twice in the same place, may like to have a re-think.

We have a beautiful explosive looking yearling full sister to Myrtlewood at the farm. It`s often said that you never really know with horses. But sometimes you just do.
